how could 3 phrases spell a triple 'wtf', indicating mass confusion? just ask Jen.
yesterday was the inaugural fun for five: bake-a-thon. was an astounding success.
- made apple & cinnamon muffin (Hui and Donna) and chocolate cake + icing (Mags and some help from dynamic duo, haha- ie. lining the cake tin, sifting the flour, breaking the eggs (literally- Janice, not me... then her inadvertent swinging of the oven mits which i had just put the eggs into for safe keeping- note to self: never put eggs in oven mits) from scratch
- dynamic duo of myself and Janice made triple choc cookies
- had way too much fun, laughed way too much. primarily laughing between the dynamic duo- who the others saw as too incompetent to do anything. we'll show you next time!
- chocolate cake icing entailed construction work by the dynamic duo, that is breaking up the icing sugar with spoons like a battering ram whilst Mags tried to force it through a sieve. Other notable words: cornflour thickening, boiling down, glossy texture, fake display food, and icing as viscous as lava... it sure left a print.
- shame James had to pull out coz of work and Aimee did a sleep-in till 3.
looking forward to... sunday. and, the next fun for five: asian deserts.

There was laughing from Hui, Donna and myself as well... 'cept we were sorta laughing AT the dynamic duo.. who eerrrr... really didn't seem that dynamic.
Note to other readers: the cookies were the kind that one makes out of a box - and yes, we did have doubts that they could do that too. LOL
