jay is CONFIRMED!
It's official. After 1 year of planning, Jay's coming to Australia.周杰倫將於2009年7月3日在悉尼舉行首次澳洲演唱會.
The press conference for his concert was held yesterday in Zilver, and the news has been splashed all over the Chinese newspapers today.
The details are as follows:
July 3 @Acer Arena for only 1 show in Australia/New Zealand
Tickets: $78, $118, $168, $268 for seated tickets and $248 and $488 for "moshpit" standing only tickets next to the stage (known as VIP tickets).
The show will be staged on a four-sided stage shaped like the word "工". There is space for 20,000 concert-goers, with 17,000 tickets to be sold publicly.
Pre-orders have commenced today and will continue until April 26. It is a first in first served basis. Official ticket sales will commence on May 1.
Those coming from interstate or overseas may be able to purchase "complete meal" (套餐) tickets including airport transfers and accommodation.
Expected organised events
Jay will land in Sydney on July 1 and there will be a plane meeting (接機) at Sydney Airport. There is an expected signing (簽名會) and press conference on July 2 and July 3 respectively. On the day after the concert there will be a fan club meeting (歌迷會). So lots of events for fans it seems.

yeh he is coming, i forgot to tell you! i found out last monday through a friend who knows a friend who found out through connections.
Anyway this is the info i got:
3rd of July at Acer Arena SUPER VIP - Floor area (standing in front of stage) : $488 , This includes a gift bag and able to attend press conference and functions with him etc. The group will hold a pass and have a room to themselves (which is next to JAy chou dress room) while they wait for the concert.
VIP (front seating area): $248
Second seating area: $168
Third seating area: $118
Second from back area : $78
Mountain area: $48
