one eventful week. prepare for heaps of ranting..
tuesday: started torts class. have abi, jing and hui in my class
wednesday: fell asleep in finance class with james next to me also asleep. bumped into jen on my way out. oh, and before then i was in law labs with new funky computers with XP and i met someone called... uh oh. fiona? can't remember, and we chatted about her dilemma with screwing over her HR manager called Charity by going straight to the CEO. She is in a bit of a mess. Will see her next wednesday to see what happened...
thursday: torts class again at 7pm. was told to prepare a question so i did. i also screwed it up badly coz supposedly criminal principles don't work in torts even though they use the same cases. my boss treats me well at work- i like my mocchas (sp?) each morning!
friday: whoa. huge day. i had my interview for the ICAA (institute of chartered accountants) at 10am. i was blatantly honest and real, not fake and cringingly suck up. i had no prepared answers, so it was all true blue. anyhow, it was okay i thought. i dun think i have a chance. then at 12pm i dashed back to uni for fed con lecture. waited 15mins, lecturer hadn't turned up. i got a call from ICAA wanting me to see the manager. i said 1pm. i was stupid. i caught the bus. that took me 20mins from UTS. i was just on time, but panting at reception. went in and had casual chat with the manager, the assistant and another worker. was good. i was really stupid, being my stupid self. talked about our fun for five ^^... anyway. went home after, slept. that was 2:30. then it was 4, went to work at tutoring. at 4:05 i told my boss i quit, and that my notice of 5 weeks had commenced. i had the intention of quitting for a while now. i grew tired of teaching maths, and thought i needed more time for my studies anyway. oh, and also i needed to make fridays free just in case the ICAA wanted to employ me. so it was all good for me. i'm glad that my employers understood. i was meaning to leave at 6:30 after i taught the class to head off to Hui's bday bash, but wasn't to be. stayed till 7:30 to mark the papers and coz my boss was busy, couldn't leave anyway. got to Hui's at 8pm. hurstville to cockle bay in 30mins!! had a ball at Hui's party... but had to shout coz music was so loud... and people dancing really badly on dancefloor. left at about 10:30. went to the loft. stood outside waiting for Hui, coz she forgot our present. left at 11 for home with James and Luna.
