A record 2.1million viewers tuned into SBS's televised coverage of yesterday's emphatic Australian victory, cementing it as one of the highest rating telecasts ever. It was exactly what football in Australia needed, and it was what all Australians needed. Everyone forgot about the IR reforms, Telstra's woes, terrorism and the fact that our Johnny is out of the country to combine, breaking cultural, economic and social borders as one nation celebrating the successes of our football team. Remind me to also have to present some Uruguayian players with Oscars when they come back next. But thumbs down for the booing during their national anthem, and incidents of throwing beer at their supporters. I think the defeaning roar even on TV was unprecedented, even in Origin, cricket or even the Olympics. Wow. Go Australia! Do us proud in Germany next year. I was wrong, they proved yesterday that they are a superb team with heart and courage.

The South Koreans went all the way to the semis last time... I have nothing but high expectations! I think they can do it.

But true, they're there- which is all that matters!! XD
