Australia's top banks by market capitalisation have just changed. Unveiling the new leaderboard:

1. Commonwealth Bank - $60b
2. Westpac - $46b
   
3. National Australia Bank - $43b

For the first time in twenty years, Westpac has overtaken NAB in terms of market capitalisation. Sydney is also surpassing Melbourne as the financial centre of Australia, as Sydney-based CBA and WBC continue to surge ahead.
