QF11

Qantas received delivery of its first Airbus A380, which touched down in Sydney this morning at 9am. The A380 will service the Sydney/Melbourne-Los Angeles route. Another three A380s are expected to be delivered by the end of the year, and will service the Sydney-London route from next year. Ticket prices for A380 services will be more expensive.

Coinciding with the departure of the first A380 flight in October will be a change in the flight attendant's uniforms to darker hues of silver and blue. I personally do not like the new Morrisey designed uniforms.

No news on when the A380 will serve the Sydney-Hong Kong or Melbourne-Sydney-Tokyo route as yet. Qantas is expected to increase their orders of the aircraft to 20+.

There might be more chance to serve the Kangaroo route as Melbourne-Hong Kong-London route by Qantas.
Btw, the interior design of the new Qantas A380 is quite colorful.
