The conspiracy theorist in me thinks that this is all an elaborate hoax to launch some unknown artist into the Sydney spotlight while conning hundreds of unknowing Australians.
The optimistic side of me thinks that given JMS productions is organising (i.e. same people who organise the 悉尼華人新秀歌唱比賽), the event should be genuine.
Time will tell.
