It's Earth Hour (地球一小時) again, and it all began in 2007 with 2.2 million people in Sydney. Two years later, and the goal is now for 1 billion people to turn off the lights.
Don't forget to turn off your lights and reduce your electricity use at 8:30pm for one hour wherever you are in the world and support a greener planet.
My work computer has been turned off this weekend, as are my colleague's, but maybe that should be the case everyday rather than logging off.
Hong Kong: The lights spectacular (幻彩詠香江) for tonight will be cancelled to make way for the symbolic lights off across both sides of Victoria Harbour at 8:30pm local time. Those promising to go black include Ching Ma Big Bridge, IFC, Arts Centre, TST Clock Tower, Hong Kong Stadium, Lan Kwai Fong and 500 other businesses.
