autumn chill
Today's the first day of daylight unsaved days and there really is an autumn chill in the air. What's most noticeable is the distinct temperature differences between the day and the night. It's about mid-20s in the day and as soon as late afternoon comes it plunges sub-20. Having said that, there isn't very much day anymore with the sun setting just past 5:30pm. We will all come out of our offices and greet the purple skies. It's now officially the start of jacket weather!However, please try and stay healthy everyone. It's also the start of sniffle season. If your offices haven't already had a swathe of people take sick leave already, they surely will start soon. What's with people still wearing shorts and t-shirts in this weather?
Better still, go get your flu shot for this year. They also begin around about now. I'll get mine tomorrow in fact. Although the year I got my flu shot was the year I got most sick with the cold. We'll see how this year pans out.
Welcome Autumn. It only really starts after we've undaylight savinged.
